Demo models

Occasionally, I sell my demo models. Here is some information about what you can expect when purchasing a demo wrap or sling.

My demo models have been used for photoshoots, as trial wraps for fairs and similar events, and occasionally as tester wraps that have been loaned to individuals.

Benefits of Demo Models:

If you're a beginner, choosing a demo model can be advantageous compared to a brand new wrap. When you buy a demo model, your wrap or sling is already broken in and often quite soft. When a wrap is broken in, the fabric fibers become soft and pliable. The "hard work" of breaking in the wrap has already been done for you. As a result, you'll notice that the prices of my demo models aren't significantly lower than those of my brand new wraps.

Washing:

My demo wraps have undergone the initial wash, which is necessary for the fibers to settle correctly and to prevent damage during use. However, I don't wash my demo models again before sending them out. Washing wraps and slings can cause the fabric to become slightly stiffer again and require breaking in – not from scratch, but they will need a bit of work to become as soft as they were. Therefore, I leave it up to you whether you want to wash your new demo wrap upon arrival.

Allergy Considerations:

If you have severe allergies, such as allergies to pet dander, please contact me before purchasing a demo wrap or sling. Some (but not all) of them have been tested in private homes. My wraps and slings are never loaned to homes with smokers.

• No need for initial washing (loomstate)
• No waiting time. Can be used immediately.
• Often softer than a completely new wrap/sling
• Easier to tie (depending on the amount of use it has seen)
• You get it at a lower price
